Bethany has been in education working with students and adults from elementary age to people well into their sixties. Working in the college system, she realized while helping prepare graduates enter the workforce, she found her niche teaching career skills such as resume writing, interview techniques, understanding work personalities, branding, business etiquette and even the art of a proper handshake (for now, fist bumps and elbow bumps!).
As students do not always seek out career advice on their own, her best success came from working with professors to integrate career topics into curriculum. That created a captive audience through which many relationships of trust were built among colleges within the college, but most of all, word of mouth among the students, who then sought out additional help or advice.
Bethany holds a Master of Arts degree in Career and Technical Education along with several current certifications: Global Career Development Facilitator(GCDF) and Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP). Having worked in both public education, the private sector as a facilitator teaching professional development skills, and for a software company, she truly enjoys helping people realize their value. Whether it’s coaching new career coaches, executives, or helping a student choose the right career path and crafting a resume to match their skills, Bethany’s calm approach puts people at ease, often during a stressful time.
